Vajpayee’s poetry is noticeable by patriotic enthusiasm and human value. He believes that verse should stimulate a sense of task and social liability in people. He is motivated by Hindu folklore and his verse is rich in devout imagery. Simple in speech and imagery, his verse praise the tradition, history and fate of India. Ideas of cultural patriotism tell his dream of India. According to Bhagwat S. Goyal, the man who translated Vajpayee’s verse into English, Vajpayee believes that “Politics and literature do not belong in separate compartments. slightly they improve and purify each other. When a litterateur gets concerned in politics, his politics gets more sophisticated. likewise if a politician has a fictional background he cannot disregard human feelings and emotions.”

Prime Minister Vajpayee has engaged a figure of eminent positions in his lengthy and well-known political occupation, counting those of the head of the antagonism and the Foreign Minister, before he took office as India’s Prime Minister on October 13, 1999.
